Hi, I’m Shevon.
I’m an independent graphic designer and creative director with over 20 years of experience helping brands bring thoughtful ideas into the real world. I design for retail, packaging, and product-focused businesses, balancing clarity, creativity, and real-world function.
From concept through production, I take a collaborative, grounded approach shaped by hands-on experience in retail and product environments. I care about the details, the materials, and how design actually lives beyond the screen.
My Background
My career began in Toronto, building a strong foundation in fast-paced retail design. I later moved to Vancouver, working closely with marketing and design teams across in-store, product, and promotional touch-points.
Returning to Toronto, I deepened my expertise in branding, packaging, and retail programs — holding senior creative roles and collaborating with national and international brands.
Alongside this work, I developed a strong illustration practice, creating graphic and hand-drawn artwork that supports brand storytelling across packaging, product, and marketing.
Today, I work strategically and practically, with a clear understanding of how design moves from concept to shelf.
How I Work
My approach is collaborative and considered. Strong work comes from listening closely, asking the right questions, and building clear systems that support both creativity and business goals.
I focus on clarity, consistency, production-aware decisions, and longevity over trends. Good design should not only look beautiful — it should function seamlessly in the real world and stand up over time.
Before working with Shevon, we were struggling to come up with something fresh and creative on our own. Shevon led our rebrand with incredible creativity and attention to detail. The refreshed identity not only looks great but has helped us communicate our purpose more clearly and consistently — making a real impact on how we present ourselves and how clients perceive us. Her professionalism, creativity, and strategic approach made the entire process seamless.

Outside The Work
When I am not designing or illustrating, you will find me outdoors, spending time with family, or noticing the details that inspire my work. Textures, colour, typography, and how things are made.
Those quieter moments shape my process just as much as the projects themselves.
I also run Lake Club, a small handmade felt pennant line inspired by lake life and slow making.
Where I Am Now
I recently moved to Hastings County, settling in the small town of Thomasburg. While the pace is different from Toronto, my approach to design remains the same.
I’ve been coming to Hastings County for over 30 years, spending summers at my family cottage on Moira Lake. That long connection made the move feel natural.
Today, I continue working with long-term clients while building relationships with small and growing local businesses. Supporting local brands with thoughtful, professional design and helping them show up confidently alongside larger players is something I deeply value.
